About Lady Pruner

Lady Pruner was founded in 2018 by Margaret Cuff, a trained interior plant designer and events florist based in NYC. Our passion and focus is on collaborating with clients to bring thoughtful, forward-looking, sustainable design into people’s homes, workplaces, and important events. Our services include interior plant design, installation, consulting, and care, as well as floral designs for weddings, shoots, and other events in NYC.

Meet Margaret

Margaret Cuff, owner and lead designer at Lady Pruner, began LP as a way to combine her loves of designing and working with both plants and flowers. After earning her fine arts degree and working for five years in the art world in NYC, Margaret turned to floral design as a creative outlet and as a way to reconnect with nature. Following a growing interest in sustainability Margaret pursued a career in botanic design, working as an associate designer and interior horticulturalist for one of the largest plant design firms in NYC. Through Lady Pruner, Margaret brings together her fine art knowledge of composition, design, and color, and her long experience in both horticultural and floral design, to collaborate with her clients in creating eco-conscious designs that are forward-looking and which prioritize sustainability.
